LOCATION: Golden Road Brewing, Los Angeles (Atwater Village)
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Part-Time

PAY RANGE: $20+ per hour, based on experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
At Golden Road Brewing, we take pride in serving high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing a variety of dishes and utilizing advanced cooking techniques to ensure consistent quality. You will also maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, and work closely with your team to deliver efficient and timely service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Food Quality & Consistency: Ensure all dishes are prepared to company standards, ensuring exceptional food quality.

Food Safety & Sanitation: Follow all health department regulations and company food safety protocols. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by performing tasks, such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash and ensuring proper food storage.

Advanced Cooking Techniques: Effectively execute complex recipes using advanced cooking techniques to create high-quality dishes.

Collaboration with BOH: Work closely with the back-of-the-house (BOH) team to ensure smooth service flow, timely food deliver and effective communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Understanding of cooking techniques, food safety and kitchen operations
• Food Handlers Certificate Required
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
