The Granola Bar is a fast-growing restaurant group built around elevated comfort food, strong coffee, a vibrant bar offering, and the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel like they’ve found their place. Our newest location on Madison Avenue will open soon, and we are building the team that will make it legendary.
Position Overview
We are looking for Bartenders who bring more than strong drink execution to the bar. Great bartending at The Granola Bar means creating an experience that feels warm, confident, polished, and easy for the guest.
This role is for someone with strong beverage knowledge, natural hospitality, and the ability to deliver both drinks and full meal service with speed, care, and consistency.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards
· Provide full food and beverage service to guests seated at the bar
· Welcome guests warmly, guide them through the menu, and make thoughtful recommendations
· Take accurate orders and deliver drinks and meals efficiently
· Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and current menu offerings
· Keep the bar stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service
· Follow responsible alcohol service, allergy, sanitation, and payment procedures
· Communicate clearly with the service and kitchen teams to support a smooth guest experience
Requirements
· Prior bartending experience required
· Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and bar service
· Excellent hospitality, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work quickly, accurately, and calmly in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable using POS systems and following service procedures
· Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
· Alcohol service and food handler certifications required where applicable
