Bartender
Pen & Pencil Club — Philadelphia, PA
The Pen & Pencil Club, Philadelphia’s historic press club and a favorite after-hours destination for restaurant-industry professionals, is looking for an experienced, personable bartender to join our team. We’re seeking someone with bartending skills values hospitality, and enjoys building relationships with members and guests.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide friendly, attentive service to members and guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Follow all Pennsylvania liquor laws and club policies
- Assist with private events and special functions
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and beer/wine service
- Ability to multitask in a busy social environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be 21+ with valid ID
- RAMP certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
