Bartender Position - 
Oceans, a locally and globally inspired seafood restaurant, was founded by Vancouver’s award-winning Toptable Group with the philosophy of creating a timeless and approachable dining experience. Executive Chef Andy Kitko sets the vision for the menu inspired by the Pacific, Atlantic, and Mediterranean shores that features the freshest catches available – all accented by seasonal ingredients.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently hiring a Bartender who will work to support the delivery of a unique and elevated guest experience that is in harmony with the kitchen’s food program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)

• Passion for food, beverage, and culture
• Teamwork is essential
• 5+ years of experience tending bar in a high-end, fast-paced environment
• Possesses solid background knowledge of spirits, contemporary cocktails, etc.
• Highly committed to a premium level of quality
• Skilled at developing and creating beverage experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
• A solutions provider committed to a vision of service to create an ultimate guest experience
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Able to lift 30+ pounds
• Maintain friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times
• Polished personal presentation
• Communicates information effectively and efficiently
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
• Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions
• Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintains professionalism when working under stress
• Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
• Adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times
• Unpack & organize all items in and around the restaurant to maintain highest level of cleanliness possible
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Management Team
• Adhere to all HR policies and procedures
