- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence
- Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating arrangements, including accommodating special requests and needs
- Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Support overall guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive first impression
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technology quickly
- Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous, demonstrating a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to ensure every visitor feels welcomed and appreciated
