Duties
- Assist in food preparation and plating to ensure dishes meet quality standards before delivery
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Deliver food orders swiftly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a tidy dining area
- Support servers by providing timely assistance with guest needs and special requests
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order tracking and payments when needed
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes properly and adhering to sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing of food delivery during busy service periods
- Assist in banquet or event setups by delivering food to designated areas promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling and safety practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing
- Experience in serving, bussing, or food preparation within hospitality settings
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, culinary procedures, or hotel guest services is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required
