Jean’s is seeking a reliable, fast-paced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about preparing high-quality food in a collaborative restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock kitchen stations before service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portioning
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Communicate effectively with chefs and front-of-house staff during service
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and closing duties as needed
- Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
