Job Details

Greet guests upon arrival, in accordance with restaurant standards.

Answer telephone calls and take reservations.

Maintain an accurate waitlist as needed, and alert guests when their table is ready.

Receive payments and process transactions according to established policies and procedures.

Complete all opening and closing paperwork; perform assigned side work.

Process take-out orders as needed and use suggestive selling techniques.
-
Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed; may also help with opening tasks such as assigning stations to servers.

Ensure waitstaff stations are clean and stocked throughout the shift.
-
Check all menus for cleanliness and accuracy; notify the manager if replacements are needed.
-
Participate in cleaning or reorganization projects as necessary.
-
Handle guest complaints, accommodate special requests, and assist with other duties as assigned.

At least 18 years of age.

High school education or equivalent.

1-2 years of experience.

Basic computer skills.

Able to deal with guests in a professional manner while maintaining a composed demeanor in high stress situations.

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.

Frequent long periods of standing and walking are expected during the workday.

Ability to reach for objects and stoop or bend as needed to perform job duties.

This position may involve visual and auditory tasks, including the ability to see and hear adequately to perform job functions.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $21.00)
