Wheelhouse is the newest concept from Georgetown Events Hospitality Group, opening in Chevy Chase. Designed as a full-service restaurant and bar, Wheelhouse brings together great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and genuine hospitality to create a true neighborhood go-to.
We are looking for hard-working, team-oriented employees who bring great energy, strong hospitality, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
We are also hiring line cooks across all stations, including fry, grill, sauté, pantry, and raw bar. Our opening menu will feature a mix of elevated classics and fresh, approachable dishes, including burgers, seafood, salads, and a dynamic raw bar program. We are seeking cooks who are detail-oriented, take pride in their craft, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards
- Weigh, measure, and prep ingredients with accuracy and consistency
- Cook a variety of foods including meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces using proper techniques (grill, sauté, fry, etc.)
- Maintain strong attention to presentation by arranging and garnishing dishes properly
- Ensure all food and ingredients meet freshness and quality standards
- Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and timing
- Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout service
- Follow all sanitation, food safety, and health code regulations
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and tools
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
