Key Responsibilities

Crafting the Experience: Guide guests through our menu with confidence, warmth, and deep product knowledge—offering thoughtful recommendations and sharing the cultural influences behind our dishes.

Full‑Service Hospitality: Manage your section with grace and pace, ensuring every guest feels seen, cared for, and welcomed into our story.

Menu Mastery: Maintain strong knowledge of Alma’s food, cocktails, wine, and dietary accommodations to support clear, guest‑forward communication.

Pacing & Flow: Read the room, anticipate needs, and coordinate timing with the kitchen and bar to create a seamless dining experience.

Operational Excellence: Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and maintain a polished, organized station throughout service.

Collaboration: Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure a unified, fluid service.

Safety & Integrity: Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible service guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of experience in an elevated, excellence‑driven restaurant
• Strong understanding of steps of service and the ability to deliver warm, intuitive hospitality
• A genuine love of guest connection and cultural storytelling
• The “Alma” spirit: reliable, optimistic, calm under pressure, and kind
• Clear, respectful communication with guests and teammates
• High stamina for standing and moving throughout shifts; availability on nights and weekends
