Service Manager

Amity Hall Uptown is looking for a high-energy, hands-on Service Manager to join our leadership team. We are a neighborhood staple that thrives on a mix of sports, university spirit, and a loyal base of local professionals. You will work alongside our GM and a second Service Manager to lead the floor and keep the energy high.

The Gig:

• Lead the Vibe: You’ll be the floor general during busy game days, university events, and lively weekend nights. You need to be able to pivot from managing a college crowd to taking care of our professional regulars with ease.
• Team Collaboration: You aren’t doing this alone. You’ll work closely with the GM and your fellow Service Manager to ensure the "Amity Hall standard" is hit on every shift.
• Floor Management: We need a visible leader. You’ll be coaching the staff in real-time, managing the door during rushes, and ensuring every guest has a great experience.
• Event Execution: From alumni watch parties to corporate happy hours, you’ll ensure events are set up for success and executed with precision.
• Operational Ownership: Assist with the "nitty-gritty"—opening/closing duties, labor management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.

The Essentials:

• Schedule: Nights and weekends are our "game time." You must be available and energized for our busiest shifts.
• Experience: 3+ years in a high-volume, fast-paced bar or restaurant. You know how to move a crowd and lead a team.
• Versatility: You’re comfortable in a loud, high-energy sports environment but haven't lost your touch for professional hospitality.
• Team Player: You take pride in being part of a leadership unit. You communicate well and leave your ego at the door.
• Stamina: You’re ready to be on your feet, moving through the crowd, and leading from the front for the duration of your shift.
