Seeking Restaurant Manager!
Acqua al 2 is seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team! We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, very strong managerial and leadership skills, and solid work experience in a fast paced high volume environment.
Sample Job Duties:
- Hire, train, motivate, and supervise FOH & BOH employees.
- Monitor service execution on the floor to ensure table maintenance, food and bar performance, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Work with host to maximize reservations, confirm parties, and communicate all guest notes to servers and other managers.
- Work with Private Dining Coordinator and staff to execute in-house and off-site events.
- Manage labor during the shift to ensure labor costs are in line.
- Train staff in food and beverage knowledge and steps of service to ensure execution of service meets expectations.
- Responsible for the security of all food and beverage, supplies, cash and daily receipts.
- Responsible for operating a safe and healthful place of work.
- Responsible for the storage and maintenance of the restaurant paper, linen, glass and silver supplies.
- Will fill the needs of any floor position when business and/or lack of staff indicates.
- Supervise inventory and estimate food and beverage costs
- Investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
- Inspect dining room, food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are always adhered are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain front of house schedule and track attendance & time off.
- Update POS system with menu items and personnel.
- Ensure all cash handling procedures are executed correctly.
- Send all necessary reports, invoices, new-hire paperwork, and other forms to the appropriate parties.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years management experience [restaurant management preferred]
- 3-4 years restaurant experience
- Bilingual preferred
- Flexible hours required [typical work week 50-60 hours]
