Job Summary:
Dear Daphni is seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. Specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, Dear Daphni focuses on fresh, bold flavors with an emphasis on open-flame cooking. As a Grill Cook, you will expertly manage the grill station, showcasing your experience with open-flame techniques to deliver perfectly cooked dishes every time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain an open-flame grill station, cooking proteins, vegetables, and other menu items to perfection.
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of grilled items according to Dear Daphni’s recipes and standards.
• Monitor grill temperatures and timing to achieve desired doneness and quality.
• Prepare mise en place and maintain an organized, clean station throughout service.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to manage workflow and ensure timely execution of orders.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with kitchen prep work and participate in daily team briefings and tastings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a grill cook, with expertise in open-flame grilling techniques.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and a passion for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing exceptional dishes.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
