Service Manager

Pete’s Tavern, one of New York City’s most historic and beloved institutions, is seeking a dynamic, unflappable Service Manager to lead our front-of-house operations.

Operating a historic, high-volume NYC landmark requires a special kind of hospitality professional. We are looking for a floor-focused leader who understands how to balance old-school New York charm with modern service standards. In this role, you will work directly alongside our VP of Operations and our legendary General Manager to drive our vision forward, preserve our brand, and curate exceptional experiences for both first-time guests and lifelong regulars.

• Act as a true advocate for the staff. You will ensure the FOH team has the tools, knowledge, and support they need to execute during high-volume services.

• Take ownership of FOH education. You will develop and run engaging pre-shift meetings, implement service initiatives, and continuously coach the staff on food, beverage, and hospitality standards

• Work hand-in-hand with the VP of Operations and our GM to roll out new operational initiatives, tighten service mechanics, and maintain the standards that keep our historic institution thriving.

• An obsessed restaurant manager with NYC management experience.

• A charismatic presence on the floor who can handle a curve ball.
