Front of House / Back of House Hybrid Star

Hank’s Bagels in Calabasas is looking for flexible teammates with skills to work a combination of BOH and FOH assignments!

We're a family-owned company that started as one small bagel shop in 2019 and has grown to multiple locations, a central commissary bakery, and a food truck. We’re looking for folks who can do a little bit of everything--or a lot of one thing, with a little experience in the other and willingness to learn.

Calabasas is an increasingly busy location, where the work is fast-paced and varied. Our goal is a fully cross-trained team who can support one another and jump in anywhere.

Job duties include:

- In FRONT: take orders, operate point of sale equipment, give great service, package to-go orders
- In BACK: prepare outstanding specialty sandwiches and other food items quickly and accurately 
- EVERYWHERE: work with teammates to keep our shop clean, safe, well stocked, efficient, and fun

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant, food retail, or hospitality environment
- Comfort and curiosity in both Front of House and Back of House, including line cook responsibilities (it's okay if you have done one more than the other--we'll teach but you have to be willing and ready!)
- Ability to work daytime shifts starting early in the morning, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication and basic arithmetic skills
- Excellent hospitality and service skills
- Passion for excellent food
