Buttercup, from the team behind Oliver’s, is a 40-seat aperitivo bar and all-day café in Chicago’s South Loop (SoLo District) built around the world’s best amaro party. With an extensive amaro library and a cocktail program rooted in storytelling, we’re cultivating elevated hospitality. Refined but never fussy, vibrant yet approachable, where curiosity meets craft.
We are building a team of people fueled by kindness and professionalism who are sharp, reliable and focused. We value service members who are driven, possess positive energy and have a “this is about us” instead of a “this is about me” outlook.
Working at Buttercup means you are a cornerstone of a collective body of people who share an insatiable interest in hospitality, culture, and excellence with an unending devotion to craft. It also means your teammates expect as much of themselves as they do you.
It takes all of us to bring excellence to life.
