Paris Bar, an iconic French brasserie nestled within the Le Méridien Hotel near Carnegie Hall and Central Park, is hiring experienced Garde Manger and Raw Bar Attendants (Oyster Shuckers) to join our kitchen team.
We are part of The Fireman Hospitality Group, a renowned restaurant group with over 50 years in the business, known for delivering exceptional dining experiences across New York City and beyond.
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our kitchen team in these roles. As a vital part of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness:
Ensure the kitchen and raw bar areas are kept clean, organized, and fully compliant with sanitation standards.
Ingredient Preparation:
Prepare ingredients following established recipes and procedures, including washing, cutting, portioning, and proper storage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment REQUIRED
- Prior experience in Garde Manger or Raw Bar preferred
- Oyster shucking experience REQUIRED for Raw Bar Attendant
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including AM shifts
- Food Handler Certification is a plus
Compensation & Details
- Pay Range: $20–$22 per hour (based on experience)
- Job Type: Full-time
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
