Lead Line Cook — Contimo Provisions (Downtown Napa)

Contimo Provisions is looking for a Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen in downtown Napa. We’re a California-Southern focused kitchen rooted in seasonal ingredients, thoughtful technique, and the kind of food people actually want to eat every day.

We’ve been fortunate to be recognized locally and nationally, and have built a strong following for doing things with intention—whether that’s whole animal butchery, handmade components, or simply executing clean, honest food at a high level.

This role is ideal for a skilled cook coming out of fine dining who still cares about craft, but is ready for a more balanced, sustainable work life. 

What the role looks like:

  • Lead a station with consistency, organization, and attention to detail
  • Execute a seasonal, evolving menu with a focus on fundamentals and technique - including, sauce work, butchery, and menu development
  • Work closely with a small, tight-knit team that values professionalism 
  • Help maintain systems, prep standards, cleanliness and overall kitchen flow
  • Station mastery is expected within 2 weeks

The schedule:

  • Daytime-focused hours — nights off (aside from occasional events)
  • Saturdays are required
  • Built for cooks who want to stay serious about food without living in a night service grind

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong foundational skills (knife work, station management, organization)
  • Experience in quality-driven kitchens (fine dining background welcome, not required)
  • Ability to move with urgency while staying clean and detail-oriented
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and cares about the guest experience.
