Located on the corner of Madison and LaSalle, The Roanoke is a high-volume, full-service restaurant known for its busy lunch service, lively happy hours, and private dining events.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant

• Strong focus on complete guest satisfaction

• Wine and beverage knowledge is a plus

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Physical & Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant

• Work amidst noise in a confined, crowded space

• Assist bus staff with cleaning and resetting tables

• Lift and carry chairs, high chairs, and/or booster seats (up to 20 lbs.)

• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting

• Work in areas with variable ventilation, smoke, and extreme temperatures

• Ability to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors

• Comfort working with and accounting for large amounts of money
