Line Cook

Piccadilly Market is seeking a Line Cook to round out our Presswich team. This individual is expected to work in a clean and efficient manner and execute prep and service at the high level that is required. We have a solid core group here and are hoping to find the right person to jump in when and where he or she is needed. We currently have 5 shifts (specifically Monday, Wednesday - Saturday 1-9PM). This individual must show up on time to each and every shift, take direction from management, and possess at least 1 year of sandwich or line cook experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• All BOH staff contributes in washing dishes throughout the shift. 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and menu planning.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences.
