Okonomi is a small 12-seat neighborhood kitchen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that practices Japanese mottainai cuisine. By day, Okonomi serves traditional Japanese ichiju-sansai set meals for all-day.
We would like to hear from individuals who are not only interested in our food but also recognize that the customer experience is much more than just the plate.
We are a small restaurant group that offers a lot of room for internal growth. Looking for server/cook candidates who are a good fit and interested in working for at least a year if not longer.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and thanking customers
- Presenting and explaining food
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning
- Cutting vegetables
- Fabricating fish and seafood
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or interest of Japanese cuisine / language
- Knife Sharpening
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($13.00 - $16.00) plus tips
