Monroe Place is a small neighborhood mom & pop sandwich shop in Culver City that is growing and looking for a team to work alongside us!

At Monroe Place, we believe the key to success for our small team is a cross trained team where everyone can fill in for every role!

We are looking for a speedy and reliable Sandwich Artist/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling the sandwiches and salads that are on our menu during service, using high-quality ingredients & spreads while adhering to food safety standards. As well as working the cashier position a couple of days a week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as though they’re an old friend when the walk in through the door! 
• Taking in person, phone, and online orders.
• Prepare and assemble sandwiches to order for a menu item build, with the occasional custom order.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and overall environment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to all health department and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed, you will have support!
• Maintain consistency of all menu items served.
• Slice deli meat and prep ingredients required through the prep schedule while following safety protocols.
• Work with speed and sense of urgency. Remember, biggest mistakes happen when it’s slow! Every single order is important!

Working hours: Approximately 8:00am-4:30pm. Full-time and part-time availability opportunitys are available, weekend availability is a must. We are looking to grow and expand, so we are also hoping for an individual who is looking for overall growth within the company.
