We're looking for a line cook who takes pride in their craft, respects the process, and thrives in a focused kitchen where every plate matters.
- Prepare and execute dishes with consistency, following Alessandro's established recipes, portions, and quality standards — from handmade pastas to wood-fired mains
- Complete daily prep and mise en place thoughtfully — get ahead of service without overproducing
- Set up your station for service: freezer pulls, par checks, and everything in its place before the first ticket drops
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or low-stock items to the kitchen team
- Maintain proper food storage at all times — label, date, rotate, and hold at correct temperatures
- Break down your station cleanly and set up the next shift for success
- Keep a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout every service
- Operate and care for kitchen equipment, including our wood-fired oven and related tools
- Collaborate with our bar team to support smooth, synchronized service
- Minimize waste and support food cost controls through smart prep and thoughtful usage
- Follow safe work practices and all health and safety standards
- Support our sustainability practices and responsible kitchen operations
- Pitch in wherever needed — this is a team kitchen
- 1–3 years of kitchen experience preferred; passion and discipline matter more than a resume.
- Strong sense of organization, cleanliness, and personal accountability
- Comfortable working independently in a small, focused kitchen environment
- Sharp attention to detail in execution, portioning, and plating
- Calm and efficient under pressure — you elevate the people around you
- Deep respect for systems, standards, punctuality, and consistency
- An appreciation for Italian cooking traditions and the craft behind wood-fired food is a plus
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $25.00)
