We are looking for a high-energy, experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the grand opening and daily operations of our brand-new concept in the heart of Astoria. This is a unique opportunity to build a team from the ground up, establish service standards, and become a fixture in the Queens dining scene.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive daily operations for a new opening, ensuring a seamless guest experience from day one.
- Hire, onboard, and coach a high-performing front-of-house team.
- Manage labor costs, food/beverage COGS, and controllable expenses to hit profitability targets.
- Ensure 100% compliance with NYC DOHMH health codes and SLA alcohol regulations.
- Act as the face of the restaurant, building "regular" relationships with the Astoria community.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume NYC restaurant (Full Service preferred).
- Advanced proficiency with Toast POS (reporting, menu edits, and troubleshooting).
- Must hold a valid NYC Food Protection Certificate.
- Proven ability to de-escalate guest issues and manage staff conflict professionally.
- Familiarity with the Astoria/Queens market is a plus.

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)
