Santa Panza (Bushwick) is hiring a Server — 3-4 shifts/week
We’re a cozy neighborhood Italian spot serving Neapolitan pizzas, pastas, natural wines and Italian inspired cocktails. Looking for a server who’s also open to picking up bar shifts when needed. We are not offering bar training at this time so servers with bar experience will be prioritized.
Ideal candidates are self-starting, creative, motivated, and genuinely hospitable, with strong work ethic and self-awareness.
Weeknight/Sunday availability preferred — Tuesday availability required currently.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years NYC full-service restaurant experience
- Solid food knowledge (Italian a plus)
- Strong wine, amari, and liquor knowledge
- Team player with great communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays)
- Able to be on your feet for long periods + lift up to 40 lbs
- Familiar with POS systems (Toast a plus)
- Takes direction well from managers and lead servers
- Self starting, self motivated and self aware
- Curious, creative, and interested in food, drinks, and NYC restaurant culture
What you’ll do:
- Provide warm, attentive service
- Know the menu and confidently guide guests
- Set up, maintain, and break down service areas
- Keep things clean and organized
- Run food, clear/reset tables, and support the team
- Handle table-side wine service
- Jump in where needed to keep service smooth
- Be available for occasional shift coverage and swaps
