Summary: As a Cocktail Server at our vibrant rooftop lounge, you'll be the face of hospitality, providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You'll showcase your passion for mixology and attention to detail as you craft and deliver a diverse range of cocktails amidst stunning panoramic views. With a keen eye for guest needs and a friendly demeanor, you'll ensure every guest feels welcomed and attended to with personalized care. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the ambiance of our upscale establishment while maximizing revenue through suggestive selling and upselling. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering beverages in a timely and friendly manner.
- Utilize knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages to make recommendations and suggestions to guests.
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workspace.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock of beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth service and uphold quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of alcohol and adherence to responsible beverage service practices.
- Engage with guests to provide information about the lounge, menu offerings, and special promotions.
- Upsell additional menu items and encourage guests to participate in loyalty programs or special events.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience as a server in a rooftop setting preferred.
- Knowledge of POS
- Knowledge of basic food safety and health regulations
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of beverage brands, types, and flavor profiles.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods up/downstairs and outdoors.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a high-demand and fast-paced work environment.
