Position: Floor Manager

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Floor Manager to join the leadership team at a newly opened, high-volume, casual-upscale restaurant. The ideal candidate is a dynamic hospitality professional who leads by example, inspires excellence, and ensures every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience.
This role is critical to delivering exceptional service, mentoring a high-performing front-of-house team, and maintaining smooth, efficient operations during every shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily floor operations to ensure seamless service and elevated guest satisfaction
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive, accountable, and professional team culture
- Manage table assignments, pacing, and service flow during peak periods
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure clear communication and proper timing of service
- Maintain a strong, visible presence on the floor, addressing guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally
- Support scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing performance development through consistent feedback
- Uphold service standards, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Champion a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a floor or front-of-house management role within a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Excellent guest relations and conflict-resolution skills
- Solid knowledge of food, wine, and craft cocktails preferred
- Calm, confident, and solutions-oriented under pressure
- Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Flexible schedule availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
