Line Cook – Verana Restaurant (Norwood, NJ)
Verana Restaurant, a critically recognized and chef-driven Italian restaurant in Norwood, NJ, is seeking a passionate and disciplined Line Cook to join our team.
Led by Chef Giuseppe Agostino, whose background includes experience in Michelin-starred kitchens in Italy and leadership roles at some of New York’s most respected restaurants, Verona delivers refined Italian cuisine with a modern edge. The restaurant has earned consistent recognition as one of New Jersey’s top dining destinations, including being named among the Top 40 Restaurants in New Jersey and recently ranking #33 out of 99 Best Restaurants in NJ, and Top 3 in Bergen County.
We are building a team of cooks who care about craft, consistency, and growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3+ years of kitchen experience (fine dining or high-volume preferred)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently under pressure
- Passion for Italian cuisine and quality ingredients
- Team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn
Responsibilities:
- Execute dishes with precision and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
- Follow prep lists and service standards set by the chef team
- Work collaboratively with BOH team during service
