Cô Lạc is a vibrant Vietnamese restaurant in the East Village focused on delivering warm hospitality, great energy, and an unforgettable dining experience. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and service-driven Host to be the first point of contact for our guests.
Position Overview:
As a Host at Cô Lạc, you will set the tone for the guest experience from the moment they walk in. You’ll manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth communication between guests and the service team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently
- Maintain an organized waitlist and accurate table flow
- Communicate clearly with servers and management
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a host or guest-facing hospitality role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
- Experience with reservation platforms (Resy, OpenTable, etc.)
- Familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine or culture is a plus
