Assistant General Manager

We operate three distinct concepts in the West Village — a French wine bar, a brasserie, and an Italian café and cocktail bar. Each has its own identity, its own regulars, and its own energy. We're looking for an AGM who thrives in that kind of environment: someone who reads a room, earns respect on the floor, and keeps operations tight without losing the hospitality.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership of daily operations across multiple locations. Limited administrative responsibilities — this is a floor position.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support staff across multiple West Village locations
- Work directly with ownership to maintain standards, culture, and accountability
- Build and manage weekly schedules using 7shifts; own labor targets
- Maintain service quality and overall flow of operations
- Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure consistency across all concepts
- Train and develop staff and captains
- Enforce DOH compliance across all locations
- Drive discipline, accountability, and team morale

Requirements

- 3–5+ years in restaurant management; NYC experience strongly preferred
- Experience in high-volume and/or multi-concept environments
- Strong floor presence — you lead by example, not from a back office
- Solid grasp of scheduling, labor management, and operational discipline
- Calm under pressure, organized, and genuinely good with people
- Comfortable moving between locations and adapting to different teams
