SK Hospitality Group is seeking polished, hospitality-driven Bartenders to join the opening team of Bueno and Yamasaki—two highly anticipated, design-forward dining concepts located within a 15,000-square-foot destination in the heart of the Financial District, moments from the New York Stock Exchange.
Yamasaki is a high-end Japanese Asian fusion restaurant, offering a refined and elevated bar program centered around precision, premium ingredients, and curated cocktails, sake, and spirits.
Bueno is a fun, trendy restaurant and lounge, delivering a high-energy atmosphere with bold Latin-inspired cuisine and a vibrant cocktail-driven social scene.
We are seeking individuals who combine technical skill with a strong sense of hospitality—bartenders who can execute at a high level while creating an engaging, memorable guest experience. Position Overview
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering a refined and engaging bar experience through expert cocktail execution, strong product knowledge, and exceptional guest interaction. You will play a key role in upholding service standards while contributing to the overall energy and atmosphere of the space.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cocktails, wine, sake, and spirit service with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
- Maintain deep knowledge of the beverage program, including classic and contemporary cocktails, premium spirits, wine, and sake
- Engage with guests in a polished, professional, and personable manner, creating a welcoming and elevated bar experience
- Provide thoughtful recommendations and guide guests through the beverage menu
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in drink preparation during high-volume service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless service execution
- Monitor guest experience at the bar and respond proactively to feedback
- Participate in menu tastings, training sessions, and pre-shift meetings
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and bar prep
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Contribute to the overall ambiance and energy of the venue, adapting between refined dining and high-energy lounge service
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining environment required
- NYC hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and sake (formal training is a plus)
- Experience in both classic cocktail execution and high-volume service
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- Ability to maintain composure and precision under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Familiarity with POS systems and bar operations
