Event Cook–District Winery

Responsibilities include but not limited too:

  •  Prepare and batch sauces, spreads, hors d’oeuvres, and other event-driven items for weddings, banquets, and tastings.
  •  Wash, peel, cut, portion, and store produce, meats, cheeses, and garnishes for both daily service and large-scale events.
  •  Collaborate with event chefs to align prep with banquet timelines and ensure consistent presentation across menus.
  •  Support event service by replenishing stations, assisting chefs during service, and plating for tastings and banquets.
  •  Ensure prep areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked while maintaining food safety standards.
  •  Label, date, and store all items properly.
  •  Weigh, measure, mix, and portion food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
  •  Comply with sanitation and food handling regulations.
  •  Operate kitchen equipment and follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and safety policies.
  •  Follow opening and closing checklists for prep stations.
  •  Stock and put away inventory.
  •  Assist with inventory, storage, and kitchen organization.
  •  Prepare daily family meal.
  •  Attend scheduled employee meetings and required training sessions.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule & Pay

  •  Full time/Part Time
  •  Up to $25.00/hr
