Job Details
Nowon East Village is seeking an experienced Lead Server (Captain) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, supports the team on the floor, and helps maintain a smooth, high-energy service.
Responsibilities- Lead the floor and support teammates during service
- Set the tone for hospitality, pace, and professionalism
- Assist with training new team members
- Help ensure a seamless and positive guest experience
- Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH
- Lead when manager is off duty
- 2+ years serving experience in a high-volume NYC restaurant
- Leadership or captain experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Calm, organized, and solutions-oriented
- NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate required
- Open availability required
- Nights, weekends, and holidays availability
- Must be able to work at least 4 shifts
