A beloved Los Feliz restaurant is seeking to hire a General Manager.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and works hands-on with our team and department heads to provide a consistent and authentic neighborhood dining environment.
Qualifications include:-At least 2 years of high-volume restaurant management.- A proven ability to manage simultaneous tasks and shifting demands efficiently and calmly.-Experience with reading P&Ls and the ability to build business systems based on P&L data.-Experience with Resy or Open Table.-Experience managing inventories and overseeing vendor payments.-Wine and cocktail knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities include:-Take full responsibility for team building and leadership, learning and understanding therelationships the GM holds with each head of department, floor manager, and supervisor.
- Participate in health and safety practices
- Compile and review P&L’s weekly with the ownership and management team
- Prepare payroll
- Oversee Accounts Payable.
- Work with all management re: inventory reporting; accountability of product costs
- Take an active role in daily labor audits and labor control
- Oversee Health Department Protocols, annual license renewals, and certificates.
- Maintain digital content on ordering platforms and the website.
- Assume and maintain an active floor presence. This includes daily operations of opening,
- closing, customer relations, and employee support and performance. Uphold consistent standards and practices.
- Oversee the timely execution of repairs and maintenance around the restaurant. This includes, but is not limited to, quickly repairing and replacing items, and ensuring a high standard of restaurant aesthetics consistent with the brand.This is a full-time salaried position with benefits.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
