About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join our high-volume kitchen. This role requires strong leadership on the line, attention to detail, and the ability to work across all stations while maintaining consistency and quality.
Responsibilities

Butchering and fish fabrication (filleting)

Work stations including salads, sauté, grill, and fry on busy times

Expedite service: read tickets, organize flow, and ensure timely execution

Prepare and pack delivery orders accurately and efficiently

Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning

Enforce proper food safety standards and temperature control

Keep kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with DOH standards
Qualifications

2+ years experience in a fast-paced kitchen

Strong knowledge of line cooking and prep operations

Experience with expediting and ticket management

Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation

Spanish-speaking preferred

Experience with Mexican cuisine and tacos is a plus
