Bad Brother is hiring a support staff position that moves between hosting, food running, and barbacking depending on the needs of the night.
We are a very small family owned restaurant and we pride ourselves on doing things the right way and not taking shortcuts. We are looking for like minded people, who can consistently come to work with a positive attitude whether it is our busiest night of the week or our slowest night of the week.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the door and reservations (Resy experience is a plus)
- Help Clean & Set Restaurant Pre - Service
- Run food accurately and efficiently
- Support the bar (restocking, glassware, ice, etc.)
- Communicate with kitchen and front of house
- Help keep the restaurant clean and organized
- Step into whatever’s needed during the shift
Schedule
- 3–4 shifts per week
- 6–8 hours per shift
- Start at 2 PM (Restaurant opens at 5 PM)
- End around 9:30 PM (weekdays) / 10 PM (weekends)
- Open or mostly open availability preferred
Pay
- $15hr + Tip Pool Allocation, Typically $19–$21/hr total Avg
Requirements
- Able to handle a fast-paced, physical environment
- Strong communication and awareness
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Willing to jump between roles as needed
- Host/door experience preferred
- Resy experience is a plus (we’ll train if needed)
Physical
- On your feet most of the shift
- Lifting up to 50 lbs (Carrying Full Bus Tubs Up A Flight Of Stairs)
- Working around heat and tight spaces
