REQUIREMENTS:
– Open and flexible availability including weekends & most holidays
– Minimum of three shifts a week
– Be comfortable working shifts by yourself
– NYC Food Handlers Permit (or willing to obtain one no more than 20 days after hire)
– Minimum 1+ years experience in craft coffee or bubble tea
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Welcome all customers with warm hospitality
– Maintain quality standards, attentive to detail and work within parameters set by our lead baristas
– Maintain work area and equipment to a high degree of cleanliness
– Develop strong working relationships with the team
– Ability to multitask and prioritize
NICE TO HAVES:
– Basic latte art skills
– Ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese
– Understanding of coffee origins & processing methods
Artbean Coffee Roasters is looking for awesome people who just so happen to be baristas and those that have a strong desire to learn and grow in the craft coffee space. We’re located on Doyers street in the heart of Chinatown right next to Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Apotheke. Lei and Chinese Tuxedo where you’ll serve many locals and tourists alike. We are a 200sq/ft takeaway shop and have an open concept that welcomes passersby as they can’t walk by without seeing the art exhibition space or smelling the wonderful scents of our freshly roasted coffee.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50 - $17.50) plus tips
