Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista at BX Eatery, you will craft high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, provide excellent customer service, and help create a warm, inviting environment for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who loves coffee, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to BX Eatery standards
Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, personalized service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently
Take customer orders accurately and handle cash and payment transactions
Monitor inventory and notify management of supply needs
Support the team with other front-of-house duties as needed

Qualifications:
POS Toast system
Previous barista or café experience preferred but not required; we value attitude and willingness to learn
Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Positive attitude, team player, and friendly demeanor
Availability to work flexible shifts, early shifts, including weekends
