The Dinex Group, Chef Daniel Boulud’s internationally acclaimed restaurant group, is excited to announce the first steakhouse to its extensive profile, La Tête d’Or by Daniel. This new concept will blend the classic American steakhouse with the Parisian dining scene. La Tête d’Or by Daniel will feature a 150-person main dining area, a cocktail bar in a dramatic lounge, private dining room, and an exclusive private omakase steak and seafood table to enjoy a unique dining experience.

The Executive Chef at La Tête d’Or by Daniel is responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the restaurant and ensures that all personnel and systems function efficiently so that guests are satisfied, the business achieves budgeted profit levels, and employee morale is maintained. The Executive Chef must work in partnership with the General Manager and Culinary Director and communicate fully with the Corporate Chefs and the Director of Operations. The Executive Chef supervises all the back-of-house staff. This position is full-time and salary-based.

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Must have Steakhouse experience
  • Six+ years of experience in high volume or fine dining environment
  • Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach
  • Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages
  • Actively practices food safety procedures
  • Able to train and motivate team
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Effective time management

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($120,000.00 - $130,000.00)
