The Waverly Inn is looking for an experienced server to join our team!
The Waverly has been providing seasonal, classic American food & cocktails with our world renowned wine program in one of NYC's most iconic dining and events locations for the past 20 years and the key to our success is an amazing service staff who treat all of our guests like regulars.
We are looking for someone local to the NYC Metro area, available for a minimum of 3-shifts per week to join our team in a lead server or captain roll
Ideal candidates will have... - Minimum of 2-year experience in an elevated or fine dining roll in NYC or equivalent city
- Strong food & wine knowledge, especially when it comes to common allergies and specialty diets
- Excellent communication skills, with both guests and other team members
- Professional & warm attitude, be able to lead by example and jump in where needed
All service members must be...
- Local to the NYC Metro area with the ability to get to and from work including nights, weekends and holidays
- Proficient in Toast & Resy (or similar) for day to day use
- Able to provide proof of employment eligibility such as government issued IDs or authorization
- Open availability, including weekends
