If you've ever thought you would enjoy the precision, creativity, team work and rush that comes from working in a busy commercial kitchen, this is the opportunity for you. Thames Street Oyster House in Fell's Point is searching for line cooks to join our culinary team! Room for salaried, leadership advancement is present for the right person. 

Experience in a scratch kitchen or culinary school is great, but it is NOT REQUIRED. Ultimately we are searching for someone interested in becoming part of an amazing team of culinary professionals, who has a great WORK ETHIC, a great ATTITUDE, and who wants to LEARN and do their BEST at all times. We work very hard to ensure everything we do is just right for our guests who have chosen to dine with us. 

We are an established and highly awarded location on the waterfront in Fells Point, where we have been one of the busiest restaurants in Baltimore for the last 15 years. Our Executive Chef-partner and Executive Sous Chef are Johnson & Wales and Culinary Institute of America graduates respectively, and share their expertise working DIRECTLY with the team every single day, as well as on the line daily. You'll be exposed to multiple stations and techniques, can assist with daily specials preparation and menu development in a scratch kitchen where everything is made fresh from pasta and pastry to ice cream and sorbet. There is plenty of room for advancement for the right person, who'd like to continue to a Sous Chef position.

We require a team player with a professional attitude. You must be passionate about culinary, and have an open mind to learn and grow. We are an independent location with owners working service daily, and a very tight knit team!
