Job Details
Duties:
- Scheduling for BOH staff for about 10-15 people
- Food costing for new menu items and understand how to batch recipes
- Counting weekly as well as monthly inventory
- Placing orders - we manage around 5 kitchen purveyors
- cooking on the line and managing cooks and making sure items are prepped
- There will be a few creative menu opportunities for our catering on/off site or holiday menus and we change the menu 2 times a year to replace a few items with seasonal items.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of kitchen manager or chef experience in a similar concept
- Strong knowledge of restaurant industry operations, safety, and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills with ability to motivate employees and obtain positive results
- Food cost
- Labor cost
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, results-oriented, and customer-focused
- The ability to work with a high degree of independence
- Catering and Event experience
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible hours If there is an event
- Management ServSafe Certification

We are a family run and a Hollywood institution since 1982. We serve British staples such as Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Beef Wellington, Homemade Savoury Pies and Traditional Sunday Roast. We also offer delicious burgers, hand-cut chips, salads and more. We pride ourselves in items being homemade. We have a weekly Tuesday Trivia night and serve Afternoon Tea on the weekends.

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $75,000.00) plus tips
