Managing Restaurant Partner
Here's your posting, written in a voice that attracts a serious operator — not just a job seeker:
General Manager | Luxury Steakhouse & Seafood | Philadelphia, PA Posted by FTK Hospitality LLC — Executive Recruiting
Some restaurants are just restaurants. This one is an experience.
Set inside one of Philadelphia's most iconic historical buildings — a space that genuinely feels like a European villa — this is a full-throttle, upscale steakhouse and seafood concept with a stunning private event business, destination-worthy wine program, and cocktail bars that are as much a draw as the kitchen itself.
We're looking for a hands-on General Manager who leads from the floor — not the office.
The Role
This is a maître d'-style GM position. You are the presence guests feel the moment they walk in. You set the tone, you elevate the standard, and you build the kind of team that delivers five-star hospitality consistently — not just on a good night.
You'll own the full operation: front of house culture, beverage programming, private dining and event revenue, and the P&L. This is not a delegator's role. The right person wants to be in the room.
What You'll Drive
- Raise the service standard across every touch point — from the first greeting to the final course
- Partner with the sommelier and bar team to develop and execute an exceptional wine and cocktail experience worthy of the venue
- Build and lead a hospitality team rooted in genuine warmth, professionalism, and pride
- Own private dining and event revenue — this is a significant revenue channel and needs a GM who treats it that way
- Manage the full P&L: labor, cost controls, vendor relationships, and top-line growth
- Be the face of the restaurant to guests, ownership, and the community
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of GM or senior FOH leadership experience in upscale or fine dining
- A genuine passion for wine, beverage programs, and elevated guest experiences
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire hospitality teams
- Experience driving private dining, buyouts, or event revenue
- Someone who is as comfortable on the floor as they are in a budget review
- Philadelphia market knowledge a plus — but the right operator will make us forget that fast
