Sally is a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar located in Fitler Square. We offer sourdough wood fired pizza, creative small plates, and natural wines. We strive for friendly and knowledgable service in a fun casual environment. We received the Michelin Bib Gourmand award this past year.
We are currently seeking a new General Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and service, have strong knowledge of spirits and wine, and confidence in leading the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day operations and leading staff through service
- Maintain a full beverage program (including Wine Club)
- Hire, train, and manage front of house staff
- Manage schedule of 10+ people
- Monitor guest experience, making improvements and implementing feedback
- Monitor financial performance, (including sales, cost of goods, and product mix, and work to optimize them.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years management experience in similar environment
- Proficiency with a major reservation and POS platform (Resy & Toast)
- Experience ordering for and maintain beverage program
- A passion for hospitality and elevating guest experiences
- Has a collaborative spirit and enjoys working with a team
- Experience in high volume & fast paced experience
- A drive to find new creative ways to expand offerings
