Front of House Staff

Position: Part-Time Server
Rate of Pay: $20.00 + tips
Location: Jackson Square
Reporting to: Director of Operations

This is a multifaceted, challenging role for an experienced hospitality professional who loves food and people and wants to be a part of growing a successful business in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests during pop-up
dinner events and our Apèro Hour (coming soon). The service provided will be in line with our Brand Standards while highlighting Chef Nico’s cuisine.

Key Job Duties:

• Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Process payments, handle cash/credit transactions
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens
• Make wine recommendations
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after service
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Work collaboratively with other servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
• Assist with side work (restocking supplies, polishing silverware, etc.)
• Adhere to Maison Nico’s policies and procedures

Applicant Qualifications:

• Hospitality first mindset - Consistently display expertise in Maison Nico hospitality and embody warmth and genuine interest in our guests as well as our team
• Someone who believes in and values what we do at Maison Nico
• Strong wine knowledge is a plus but not required
• Two years of restaurant dinner experience preferred, but not required
