Side Eye is a French restaurant and bar that opened recently in Queen Village. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, and as our business is expanding we are looking for a line cook to join our team in the kitchen. Our seasonally evolving menu is inspired by French bistros and comfort food, but cooked and served in a contemporary, Philadelphian style. Almost everything we serve is made in house, including breads, fresh pasta, stocks and sauces, butter, fresh cheese, and desserts and pastry.

- Dependability, attention to detail and a team-player attitude
- Basic familiarity with French cuisine and technique
- At least 1 year of experience cooking proteins, sauces and veg
- Weekend evening availability
- Ability to keep up with the pace of a busy restaurant
- Time management skills
- Competence managing a station day-to-day (following proper cleaning and organizing procedures, closing, and ability to keep up with small prep tasks)
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Full time schedule with 2-3 days off
- Valuable experience across a range of cooking techniques

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00)
