The General Manager is responsible for fulfilling the daily operations including guest service, staff engagement, and supporting front and back of house procedures to ensure an optimal level of service is provided to every guest. The General Manager also plays an integral role in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards, in addition to supervision and direction of the team. The successful candidate will possess a hands-on management style with an eye for detail and have strong interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count, diner notes, and menu changes.
- Oversee facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met with ability to give feedback and guidance toward improvement.
- Stay in front of guest relations, resolve any issues that surface, and find solutions that address root causes and can be implemented as service standards.
- Hire hourly staff, providing ongoing hands-on training, coaching, and cross-training as needed.
- Assure safety compliance and follow all policies and procedures to protect staff and guests from accident and injury.
- Control payroll, supplies, and equipment costs within budget to maintain profitability of operation, implementing cost saving and profit enhancing practices where applicable.
- Responsible for assisting Private Dining Manager in selling and organizing events in the private dining rooms, with ability to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, advise on menu selections, conduct tours, and assist with service during events if necessary.
Skills and Abilities for Success:
- The ability to be strategic, flexible, proactive, calm under pressure, resourceful and efficient.
- Experience developing rapport with guests through an effective floor presence.
- Must have upbeat, positive, can-do attitude and possess the ability to lead and motivate people.
- Ability to work long hours and varied shifts often in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Tripleseat, OpenTable, ToastPOS, Paylocity Payroll, Microsoft Office and Inventory software required.
- Experience in private dining event execution.
Required Certifications/Experience:
- At minimum, 5 years of management experience required.
- Manager's ServSafe Certification
- BASSET
- Allergen's Certification

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $100,000.00)
