We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team who thrives in both the operational and administrative aspects of running a well-organized, high-performing kitchen.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with staff scheduling, labor management, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Support product receiving, daily invoice reconciliation, and purchasing/ordering processes
- Participate in weekly and monthly inventory processes and maintaining accurate product usage and ensure food costs are controlled
- Maintaining detailed kitchen documentation, including line checks, temperature logs, HACCP standards, and health department compliance
- Helping manage prep planning and production levels to support efficient service and reduce waste
- Assisting with training, mentoring, and performance development for a diverse hourly culinary team

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary-driven, well-rated restaurant or hotel
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including experience with scheduling, inventory, and kitchen documentation
- Experience supporting food cost control, ordering, and labor management
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop line cooks
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive performance and accountability within a culinary team
