Job Overview
Gabriel’s Bar & Restaurant is seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will provide a warm welcome, manage reservations efficiently, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming first impression

• Manage reservations and guest flow using OpenTable and RESY

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally

• Monitor and respond to emails related to reservations and guest inquiries

• Coordinate seating to ensure efficient table turnover and a smooth dining experience

• Maintain an accurate waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests

• Provide coat check service when needed

• Escort guests to their tables and present menus

• Assist with guest requests and communicate effectively with management and service staff

Qualifications

• Experience using OpenTable and RESY reservation systems

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to answer phones professionally and manage email correspondence

• Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment

• Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor

• Prior restaurant host/hostess experience preferred
