Opened in March of 2026, Slim’s is a steakhouse concept from renowned restaurateur Stephen Starr, whose Miami favorites such as Makoto, Le Zoo, and Pastis have become synonymous with style and exceptional dining. At Slim’s, the timeless allure of a classic steakhouse meets the cinematic glamour of old Hollywood, brought to life through lush leather seating, vintage-inspired art, and an atmosphere that feels both refined and inviting. With prime cuts, expertly crafted cocktails, and Starr’s signature attention to every detail, Slim’s is poised to become the next must-visit destination in Miami’s luxury dining scene.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 4 years of Sous Chef/ kitchen management experience in a well-rated, industry leading kitchens 
  • Influential, team-oriented leadership style with passion for training and development of others 
  • Attention to details of food quality, preparation and presentation 
  • Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands 
  • A solid understanding of ordering, scheduling, production, plating, etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication, and computer skills
